Metro seeks funding boost to replace outdated rail signaling system, promises fewer delays

Problems with Metro’s rail signaling system can lead to massive delays, especially on the Red Line, which is Metro’s oldest line. Metro took 7News inside the train control room at the Farragut North station on the Red Line to show us what it says is extremely out-of-date signaling equipment that needs to be replaced.
