OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Another big theft was the last straw for a South Omaha businessman. He decided to take action himself by offering a reward to recover an expensive stolen trailer .

A call to First Alert 6 and Mike McKnight led to results.

Near 30th and Chandler Streets in Bellevue, Tom Rassman was driving home from work when he spotted a long red trailer parked on a busy Bellevue street.

“It looked out of place not to mention I saw it on the news the other night when it got stolen,” Rassman said.

So he pulled up the online First Alert 6 story about the stolen trailer.

“It was pretty obvious it was it.”

The trailer had been stolen from outside a 41st and Q Streets garage where Ray Marquez stored it for a friend.
