WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — Starting a business from home in Warner Robins just got easier.

The city council recently approved new rules to streamline the permit process for home-based businesses, giving entrepreneurs more options with less hassle.

Under the new ordinance, residents now have three ways to notify the public about their business. They can hold a public hearing, collect signatures from adjacent neighbors, or send certified letters to property owners.

Planning and zoning manager Darin Curtis said the changes will help some applicants get permits in as little as seven days.
