AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. (WJBF) - Aiken County Career & Technology Center hosted its annual Community Night on Tuesday.

The event allowed students to showcase their skills and projects.

School leaders also celebrated the upcoming opening of the new Career and Technology Center. It will welcome students to the facility next school year.

"The excitement has been off the charts for the new facility," said David Harris, principal of Aiken County Career and Technical Center.

The school also unveiled its new logo for the facility at the event on Oct. 28. It features many different elements that symbolize all the Aiken County High Schools.

The logo's color palette includes Smoke Gray, Stardust, Silver, Dark Gray, Galaxy Blue and a hint of Copper. Its nine stars represent the eight high schools and
