In Bihar, following the Election Commission’s Special Intensive Revision (SIR), around 50 lakh voter names were deleted.

Many of these deletions were due to deaths, migrations, duplicate registrations, or voters being untraceable. However, a significant number of those who migrated are now living in Haryana.
