BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - Warren County Health Department has wrapped up a multi-million-dollar renovation and has officially completed construction on upgrades with the facility.

The construction process started two years ago. Staff of the health department had to balance being fully operational while navigating ongoing construction within the building.

Matthew Hunt is District Director for Barren River District Health Department, and believes the renovation needed to include an expansion to its original clinic space.

“We’re one of the larger health departments in the state,” remarks Hunt. “And so just having the waiting room large enough for the children and the parents and the guardians bringing the children in, that was necessary. Before, we had a very small waiting room. We were
