Shohei Ohtani is undoubtedly one of the best players of this era. The two-way star has been incredible, and 2025 has just been better. Ohtani pitched in his first World Series game against the Toronto Blue Jays, and he put up some good numbers.

While the Dodgers blew it all in the seventh inning, Ohtani’s pitching was dominant after surrendering only one home run. Several MLB fans argue that Shohei Ohtani is the best two-way star to have ever played the game. Yet, many still believe that Babe Ruth is unbeatable.

Recently, MLB insider Jon Heyman compared Ohtani to Babe Ruth. Heyman stated that Ohtani is the greatest baseball player.
