Queensland's Education Minister has vowed to get to the bottom of a massive exam bungle that means hundreds of Queensland students are sitting an exam this afternoon on a topic they haven't learnt about.
Nine high schools across the state found out they had taught year 12 ancient history students about Roman emperor Augustus Caesar instead of Julius Caesar.
The error, which was only uncovered a day before the final exams, means 140 students will sit an exam on a topic they have not studied.
There were also rumours of scam emails targeting other schools relating to other subjects, however 9News understands the current debacle relates only to ancient history.
