OPPO is already making waves this month with the launch of its new Find X9 and Find X9 Pro smartphones , but rumours suggest the company is not stopping there.
According to reliable Weibo leaker Digital Chat Station , OPPO is developing a compact flagship tablet powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset – the same 3nm silicon used in top-end phones like the OnePlus 15.
The unnamed device reportedly features an 8.8-inch OLED display, bringing vibrant colours, deep blacks and a likely high refresh rate for gaming and creative work.
This puts it in direct competition with Apple’s iPad mini and upcoming compact Android rivals such as Xiaomi’s next-gen Redmi K Pad 2 and Nubia’s RedMagic Astra.
If true, the tablet could launch in early 2026 and may later be rebranded
