INDIANAPOLIS — One person is dead following a shooting on the near northwest side of Indianapolis late Tuesday night.

Officers responded to a report of a person shot around 11:45 p.m. in the 1400 block of West 34th Street. They arrived to find a victim who had apparently been shot.

The victim later died from their injuries, police said.

There is no information at this time about a possible suspect or motive in the shooting.
