YORKTON TERRIERS 2, NIPAWIN HAWKS 1 (OT) Thomas Ries scored the game winner just 59 seconds into overtime to lead the Yorkton Terriers to their second straight win on Tuesday night, defeating the Nipawin Hawks 2-1. The Terriers opened the scoring in the first as Jye Zawatsky netted his fifth goal of the season, before Mason Karakochuk tied things 1-1 just under three minutes into the second period. After a scoreless third period, Ries then added the heroics for the Terriers who earned their 7th win of the season. Callum Creig was once again very good in his second straight making 38 saves in the win, while Hawks netminder Gage Roberts stopped 38 shots in the overtime loss.
