The mustachioed man was one of baseball’s biggest surprises in 2025, with 34 home runs and a 3.2 fWAR. Despite that, there are concerns about a career year coming at age 28, and this will be the one big contract Trent will try and land in his career. His defense did take a major step back this year, so unless you can bank a couple more 30-bomb seasons, it may be time to shake his hand and wish him the best.
