New York Post | Joel Sherman ($): Sherman’s been breaking down all the major free agent decisions the Yankees will have to make this winter, and today the topic is centerfielder Trent Grisham. The mustachioed man was one of baseball’s biggest surprises in 2025, with 34 home runs and a 3.2 fWAR. Despite that, there are concerns about a career year coming at age 28, and this will be the one big contract Trent will try and land in his career. His defense did take a major step back this year, so unless you can bank a couple more 30-bomb seasons, it may be time to shake his hand and wish him the best.
MLB.com | Bryan Hoch: One way or another, we’re going to see a pretty different roster for Opening Day 2026 than we did for 2025. Both Tim Hill and longtime vet Jonathan Loáisiga have club option
