The Jets will be without one of their defensive backs for the foreseeable future.
Safety Andre Cisco will undergo surgery for a torn pectoral muscle he suffered in Gang Green’s Week 8 win over the Bengals and is expected to be out indefinitely, ESPN reported Tuesday night .
Cisco has started all eight games for the Jets this season after signing a one-year, $8.5 million contract this offseason. He’s recorded 41 tackles and one pass defended while ranking 51st out of 88 in safeties, according to Pro Football Focus’ grading system .

Cisco has yet to pick up an interception after recording eight over the previous three seasons with the Jaguars.
