The Swan Valley Stampeders picked up their fifth win of the season Tuesday night, defeating the Waywayseecappo Wolverines 5–2 in their third meeting of the campaign.
Ethan MacTavish, Darren Hunt, Riley Fequet, and Karson Connelly each notched a goal and an assist for the Stampeders, while Trace Langan added the other marker.
Cole Hunter and Brodie Heimbecker replied for the Wolverines in the loss.
Easton Falls was solid in net for Swan Valley, turning aside 24 of 26 shots, while Waywayseecappo goaltender Jase Wareham stopped 34 in a busy outing.
The Stampeders are back in action Saturday night when they visit the Virden Oil Capitals. The Wolverines return home Thursday to host the Portage Terriers.
