A Princeton man charged in the shooting death of another Princeton man appeared fo arraignment in Caldwell District Court earlier this week.

WPKY reported 20-year-old Hector Miguel Pena of Princeton is accused of the shooting of 34-year-old Jerrod Cooper also of Princeton at a residence in the 300 block of Beverly Drive last Thursday morning.

Pena appeared without a lawyer and a not guilty plea was entered on his behalf. He told District Judge Matthew Schalk during his appearance Monday he plans to hire an attorney.

Pena is being held on a murder charge with bond at $1 million. He is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing November 3rd.
