Police arrested four people on Monday on suspicion of robbing a grandmother and granddaughter of their jewelry while they were riding in an autorickshaw in the Crossings Republik area. The most most interesting aspect of this incident is that two of the suspects were found to be residents of the same village as the victims. Two of the accused were shot during the encounter and are currently receiving medical attention at the hospital. Additionally, police were able to retrieve from the accused the auto-rickshaw used in the crime, two handguns, and the stolen jewelry.
