A Mumbai-based entrepreneur’s attempt at humour with his employees quickly came back to haunt him. Entrepreneur Parth H’s post didn’t go well with LinkedIn users after he initially claimed to have told his employees they would receive their monthly salaries on a postponed date as a way of “teaching patience" and helping in their “character development".
Parth later clarified he was being sarcastic and sent the e-mail regarding the salary delay only to himself. But by then, it was too late, as his post drew sharp criticism online. He was slammed for making fun of salaries that help hardworking employees make ends meet.
