U.S. — A Biblical epic in development at Angel Studios will reportedly star American actor Jim Caviezel as every single character from the entire Bible.

"Ever since The Passion of the Christ, I've been typecast as Bible characters," said Caviezel, 56. "So I figured, why fight it? I'll just be all the Bible characters."

The film, directed by Alejandro Monteverde ( Sound of Freedom , Zero A.D. ), breaks new ground in the genre of Bible epics by being about the entire Bible and having one actor play all the parts.

"He plays Adam, he plays Moses, he plays both David and Goliath — but he plays all the women too," Monteverde said. "I tried a version of the movie with different actors, but every time I watched it, I kept thinking to myself, wow, this really needs more Jim Caviezel."
