FAIRMONT — With Saturday’s girls Class AAA region I semifinals in the rearview mirror, it will now be a battle between cross county rivals for a shot at the 2025 WVSSAC State Tournament.

Wednesday inside East-West Stadium, the No. 1 seeded East Fairmont Bees will take on the No. 3 North Marion Huskies in a win or go home match that will determine which Marion County squad will advance to play in Beckley beginning Nov. 5.
