TUNICA COUNTY, Miss. - While mystery is a big part of the fun on the spookiest holiday of the year, one Mississippi sheriff's office is asking residents to stop the scary shenanigans... at least as long as they're inside a business.
The Tunica County Sheriff's Office said they're asking anyone wearing a mask as part of a Halloween costume to please remove it before entering a store, business, or public building.
"Halloween starts a fun and exciting holiday season in our community, and our number one priority remains keeping our community safe," the sheriff's office said. "Our deputies are delivering signs to local businesses to display reminding patrons to remove all masks before entering."
