POUGHKEEPSIE – Eighteen-year-old accused murderer Anthony Taylor has been identified by the Peekskill Police Department as the suspect in an August 17 shooting in that city in which a gun was discharged during a fight near Main and Charles Streets, according to the Peekskill police.

Taylor was arraigned on an indictment charging him with murder and two counts of weapons possession in the death of 22-year-old Hyde Park resident Gabriel Mosca in the City of Poughkeepsie on October 3, 2025, shortly after 5 p.m. Taylor, a Poughkeepsie resident, fled to Maryland following the murder and was brought back to Poughkeepsie on Monday by City of Poughkeepsie detectives.
