EDMOND − Edmond is finding its way(s).
Crews are placing 100 wayfinding signs around the city. The first one, unveiled Tuesday, Oct. 28, at Second Street and Broadway Avenue downtown, points to City Hall, the Police Department and Public Safety Center, and Festival Marketplace.
"This is the first sign of many. ... They will help visitors and locals alike know how to navigate the city. They're pointing out points of interest. We're excited to unveil the first sign," said Ward 1 City Council member Maggie Murdock Nichols.
