Union Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has said that postal circles have shown impressive performance in the second Quarter with three thousand 324 crore rupees which is about 80 percent of the target of around 4 thousand 200 crore rupees. Addressing the media after the Quarterly Review of the Annual Business Plan 2025-26 of the Department of Posts today in New Delhi Mr Scindia noted that Delhi with 149 percent and Telangana with 112 percent emerged as the top performers, surpassing their set targets. He added that however, some areas like parcels, international and global business remain below 50 per cent of targets. The Minister stressed the need to focus on Parcel and Mail services so that they contribute at least 75 percent of total revenue in the coming years.
