COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - Clouds and rain for the middle of the week thanks to another cold front will give way to lots of sun Friday. That will usher in colder mornings to end the week.

Cloudy, foggy and misty at first with a few showers on this Wednesday. Showers become likely from mid morning to mid afternoon with most spots getting an hour or two of light rain during that time frame, and we’ll generally receive one-third of an inch or less. Rain will move from west to east and we’ll have breezy conditions. Staying chilly with highs in the mid 50s to near 60 degrees. We’ll actually see some sun in many spots briefly late Wednesday afternoon as the rain exits.
