Robbie Keane is being considered to replace Brendan Rodgers as Celtic manager, talkSPORT understands.
Celtic announced on Monday that Rodgers had resigned , and club chief Dermot Desmond launched a scathing attack on him soon after.
Former striker Keane , who played for Celtic on loan from Tottenham Hotspur in 2010, is the head coach at Hungarian side Ferencvaros.
He won the league title with them last season, although they sit fifth in this season's table.
The Premier League legend has previous managerial experience with Atletico de Kolkata and Maccabi Tel Aviv.
Irishman Keane won the Israeli Premier League with Maccabi Tel Aviv in the 2023/24 season.
