KEENE, N.H. —

An inmate at the Cheshire County House of Corrections is accused of trying to solicit the murders of two people, Keene police said.

Edward LePore, 45, was arrested on Tuesday. Police said the arrest was made after detectives monitored communications between LePore and another person who is not an inmate.

It is not clear who LePore allegedly wanted to have killed or why he was jailed in the first place.

LePore is scheduled to be arraigned on Wednesday on charges of conspiracy to commit murder and solicitation to commit murder.

Anyone with information about LePore is asked to contact Detective Don Lundin at 603-357-9820.
