ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Bernalillo County Animal Care announced the debut of its new Animal Care outreach vehicle. The new vehicle will be at two community Halloween events on October 29.
The county says the custom vehicle will allow them to expand outreach by bringing adoptable pets directly to residents. The unit can transport and showcase up to 18 animals. It will also allow them to host mobile cat adoption events for the first time. During Wednesday's events, community members can meet adoptable pets, learn about animal services and support local adoption efforts.
Wednesday's community Halloween events: • Alvarado Square Halloween Trunk or Treat from 10:30 - 2:30 p.m. (415 Silver Ave. SW) • Bubba’s 33 from 5 - 8 p.m. (4861 Pan American Fwy NE)
