Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday ridiculed the INDIA bloc, alleging that RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and Congress veteran Sonia Gandhi wanted to make their sons Bihar Chief Minister and Prime Minister, but "both posts were not vacant".
"The BJP has given tickets to many youngsters for the Bihar Assembly polls, but the RJD and Congress have not. Lalu ji wants to make his son Tejashwi (Yadav) the chief minister and Sonia ji wants her son Rahul (Gandhi) to be the PM. I want to let them know that both posts are not vacant," he said at a rally in Bihar's Darbhanga.
Calling the Mahagathbandhan a ' thug bandhan ' (alliance of thieves), Amit Shah claimed Lalu Yadav was involved in fodder, bitumen and land-for-jobs scams, while the Congress was involved in corruption cases worth Rs 12
