South African captain Laura Wolvaardt has added another accolade to her impressive career by equalling former Indian captain Mithali Raj’s record for the most 50+ scores at the Women’s World Cup.

Raj, who retired after the 2022 ODI World Cup, amassed 13 scores of 50 or more in the 50-over World Cup. Wolvaardt, who was nearing this milestone, has now matched Raj’s record by achieving her 13th 50+ score during the team’s semifinal match against England at Barsapara Stadium.
