Gujarat Maritime Board, APM Terminals ink ₹17,000 crore MoU for Pipavav Port expansion October 29, 2025
Gandhinagar: The Gujarat Maritime Board (GMB) and Gujarat Pipavav Port Limited (APM Terminals) on Wednesday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for an investment of ₹17,000 crore. The MoU aims to strengthen Gujarat’s maritime sector through advanced infrastructure development and capacity expansion at Pipavav Port.
The project is expected to generate nearly 25,000 direct and indirect employment opportunities, giving fresh momentum to the local economy and improving the standard of living in rural areas.
With the expansion, Pipavav Port’s handling capacity for container, bulk, liquid, and Ro-Ro cargo will increase, enabling faster and more efficient port operations. The investm
