ABSU will hold a dharna at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi, on November 21

The All Bodo Students’ Union (ABSU) held a mass protest rally in Kokrajhar today and plans to hold a series of seminars and dharnas in Assam and in New Delhi to mount pressure on state and central governments for full implementation of the Bodo Accord, 2020.

Speaking to media after the mass protest rally in Kokrajhar today, ABSU President Dipen Boro said that the students’ body will hold a seminar on November 20, in collaboration with 10 Sixth Schedule councils, to discuss the constitutional rights and powers of autonomous councils.

It will also hold a dharna at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi, on November 21, to demand the passage of the 125th Amendment Bill and the complete execution of the Bodo Accord.
