Scotland's "best thrift shopping" destination has been named.And it is not either Glasgow or Edinburgh that can be found at the top of the list.

With Christmas coming up, people across the country will be looking for cost-effective gift ideas. FlixBus has shared a list of the eight "leading thrift hopping locations" across the UK, where shoppers can find vintage and pre-owned goods.

According to the experts, the top destination in Scotland for thrift shopping is Dunfermline in Fife. Scotland's newest city was also named the fifth-best thrifting location in the whole of the UK.
