A viral video from a train has triggered outrage after a woman, whose purse was allegedly stolen during the journey, shattered the window of her AC coach in anger over what she described as police inaction.

The short clip shows the visibly distraught woman repeatedly striking and breaking the windowpane of her compartment, ignoring fellow passengers who requested her to stop.

Glass shards scattered across the coach as passengers on the platform looked on in disbelief. A toddler, believed to be her own, was seen sitting beside her during the outburst.

Reports suggest that the woman’s purse was stolen while travelling. Irked by the lack of help from railway staff and authorities, she resorted to venting her anger on the train’s window.
