Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh has reportedly received a threat from Khalistani organisation Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) after he was seen touching Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan’s feet during an upcoming episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati. According to reports, SFJ chief Gurpatwant Singh Pannun warned that the group would attempt to shut down Dosanjh’s concert scheduled in Australia on November 1.

The controversy erupted after Dosanjh appeared on Kaun Banega Crorepati and sought Bachchan’s blessings by bowing and touching his feet. The episode is slated to air on October 31, 2025. However, the act drew sharp criticism from the separatist organisation, which accused the actor-singer of dishonouring the victims of the 1984 anti-Sikh riots.
