New Jersey American Water broke ground on a new operations center in Washington that will service customers in Warren and Morris counties.

Construction on the new 22,517-square-foot facility at 290 E. Washington Ave., designed by McKernan Architects & Associates, is scheduled to begin in November 2025, with completion expected by December 2026, weather permitting.
