(FOX40.COM) — A survey of California voters, done by Emerson College Polling, has found that Proposition 50 supporters outweigh those who oppose it.
The study found that 57% of voters support Prop 50, which would authorize temporary changes to the state Congressional maps, while 37% oppose it.
The organization said that the inclusion of undecided voters increases the support to 60% and the opposition to 40%.
“With less than two weeks until the California special election for Proposition 50, the measure looks likely to pass, with results again outside the poll’s margin of error,” Spencer Kimball, executive director of Emerson College Polling, said. “Certain demographic groups that were hesitant to support the measure last month have come around to support Prop. 50, such as Black voters,
