LAWRENCE COUNTY, Ohio. (WSAZ) - The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal two-vehicle crash that happened on State Route 93 yesterday.

At approximately 10:53 a.m. on October 28, the Portsmouth Dispatch Center of the OSHP received a call about the crash, which was near mile post 22 in Washington Township, Lawrence County.

Troopers determined that Jeremy Johnson, 48, of Nelsonville, was traveling southwest on S.R. 93 in a 2016 Peterbilt, and another driver was traveling northwest in a 2008 Ford Escape.

Johnson’s Peterbilt and its trailer overturned after negotiating a curve on its left side, striking a guardrail on the east side of the roadway, OSHP said.

Johnson’s vehicle then hit the other driver in the northeast lane of the roadway, OSHP said.
