MONTICELLO - A Monticello man has been charged with reckless endangerment in connection with a shooting at a housing complex in June.
Monticello village police said Na'im N. Warner, 18, of Monticello was arrested as a result of an ongoing investigation into a shooting incident that happened just before 1:45 p.m. June 22 at the Monticello Housing Authority complex on Evergreen Drive.
According to police, Warner and another male exchanged gunfire at that location.
The investigation alleged that Warner possessed a 9-millimeter firearm and fired at least two rounds at the other male following an argument between the two of them.
During the exchange of gunfire, one of the rounds fired went through the wall of a building and into an apartment, but no one was injured.
