Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.) has a theory to explain why President Donald Trump is refusing to negotiate an end to the shutdown, why he is demanding outright surrender from Democrats.

He’s been spoiled by Republicans who treat him like Julius Caesar, bowing to his every whim.

“Republicans have shown me a level of advanced yoga I’ve never seen, the way they bend over backwards to give him everything he wants,” Booker said. “We’re not going to let him do to us what he’s done to them, which is to turn them into puppets, into people who will submit, even when they know he’s wrong.”
