While Singh was outperformed by Japan's Yamato Furusawa, he previously showcased his strength by defeating Kazakhstan's Ibrahim Yskakbek. Rachana clinched her bronze with an 11-0 victory over Kyrgyzstan.

On a less fortunate note, India's badminton players faced tough adversaries, with significant efforts falling short in the quarterfinals.
