LYNCHBURG, Va. (WDBJ) - The Lynchburg Police Department has arrested a Lynchburg man accused of making a threat against Delegate Wendell Walker, who represents the 52nd District in the Virginia House of Delegates.

LPD arrested 47-year-old Ronald Reynolds of Lynchburg; he was charged Tuesday, October 28, 2025, with felony threat of death or bodily injury in writing.

Monday, October 27, a preliminary investigation indicated that a threat was sent via text message and referenced Delegate Wendell Walker. Officers identified Reynolds, according to LPD.
