AMANDA, OH — The Amanda-Clearcreek School District dismissed students early on Tuesday, October 29, 2025, after a written threat was discovered inside one of the school buildings , prompting an immediate safety response.
According to district officials, the threatening message was reported to administrators earlier in the morning , who then activated established safety protocols and placed the 3–12 building on “Hold” status while the situation was assessed.
At this time, there is no indication the threat is credible , but school officials said they are acting with an abundance of caution to ensure the safety of all students and staff.
