Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday said that no one can touch the recently amended Waqf (Amendment) Act, which the Mahagathbandhan has promised to block in Bihar if it wins the assembly election.
Speaking to Network18 Group Editor-in-Chief Rahul Joshi at News18 ‘Sabse Bada Dangal’ ahead of the Bihar assembly elections, the former BJP chief said the opposition does not understand the Constitution, but his party will not let them stop the implementation of the Waqf law.
“They don’t understand the Constitution and the law. I want to tell people of Bihar and India till the time there is a BJP MP in Parliament, no one can touch the waqf law. It is the promise of the BJP," Shah said.
