TAYLOR COUNTY, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - A driver was trapped in a car after a crash with a semi-truck in south Taylor County Wednesday morning.
The crash happened on Hwy 277 near FM 1235 around 10:00 a.m.
Law enforcement told KTAB and KRBC a sedan pulled out in front of an 18-wheeler that was traveling north on Hwy 277, causing a collision.
Both vehicles went off the road and into a nearby fence. The driver of the sedan was trapped and had to be extricated. He is now hospitalized with serious injuries.
The driver of the 18-wheeler was not injured in the crash.
The investigation is ongoing and no further information is available at this time.
