PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Rhode Island's Cold Case Unit has solved the murders of two women.

The R.I. Attorney General's Office released the investigative reports for the victims — Cynthia McKenna and Debra Stone — Wednesday morning.

Attorney General Peter Neronha held a news conference to announce the results of the investigation, alongside detectives from North Providence and Narragansett.

Here's what those reports revealed:

Cynthia McKenna

McKenna, 49, was found dead inside her North Providence apartment by a loved one on Feb. 21, 2007, per the investigative report.

That person went to check on McKenna after the manager of her apartment building reached out and told him she hadn't been seen or heard from in several days. The report said he found McKenna "tucked tightly in her bed
