Energy and Natural Resources Minister Tim Hodgson says Canada can still lead the energy transition even with his government’s support for new oil pipelines.
“Canada’s innovation ambition is straightforward,” he said during his keynote speech at the International Energy Agency ’s Energy and Innovation Forum in Toronto on Wednesday. “Build the most reliable, affordable, low-carbon energy system in the world, and export the know-how, technology and resources that make it possible.”
