OMAHA, Neb. —
The jury trial scheduled for next month for an Omaha man facing federal trafficking charges is canceled, according to court documents.
Chad Alioth is charged with multiple offenses, including human trafficking and sexual exploitation of a minor. His trial was scheduled to start Nov. 3.
Court documents state that Alioth waived the right to a speedy trial, and a request for an extension of time to file pretrial motions was approved.
Pretrial motions in the case are now due by Dec. 15, and discovery is due Nov. 14, according to court documents.
