Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) extended the deadline for filling up forms by ex-regular students in Odisha for the Annual Higher Secondary Examination-2026. Originally, the last date for submission of filled-out forms was October 28.

According to official sources, due to the recent cyclone Montha, a large number of students across several colleges were unable to complete the form-filling process on time.

Following numerous appeals from affected colleges, the CHSE decided to grant an extension for form submission. The council cited the severe weather conditions as a valid reason for the delay and has assured that no student would face penalties for missing the previously fixe
