MANTEO, N.C. (WITN) - A local couple has officially set a Guinness World Record after completing 108 tandem skydives in a single day, soaring above the skies of Manteo for nearly 16 hours.
Sven Jseppi and his wife, Heather McLay, completed the record-breaking feat with the support of a large team of pilots, packers, and volunteers who helped manage takeoffs, landings, and safety on the ground. The average time from landing to the next jump was just under nine minutes, with the quickest turnaround under a minute.
