Two people were wounded, one critically, in a Tuesday night shooting in Montgomery, police say.

At 7:36 p.m. Oct. 28, police went to the 5100 block Carmichael Road on a report of two people shot, said Ernestina McGriff, spokeswoman for the Montgomery Police Department. They found a woman who had sustained non-life-threatening injuries from a gunshot wound, she said. They also found a man who had sustained life-threatening injuries from a gunshot wound, she said.

Both of the injured people were taken to a local hospital for treatment, McGriff said.
